EVOLUTION EARTH embarks on a global expedition to reveal the extraordinary ways animals are keeping pace with a planet that is changing at superspeed. We meet the scientists, filmmakers and local communities at the front lines of this rapid change. They show that we too can help, and that if we work with nature in planned conservation efforts, nature can do more than survive - it can bounce back. This five-part series is narrated by Princeton University’s Shane Campbell-Staton, who guides us through each episode in an intimate narrative style, drawing on his background as an evolutionary biologist.

Raised by Samburu keepers who act as surrogate parents, these elephants are nurtured back to health and prepared for life in the wild. From tiny calves taking their first bottle to older elephants facing release, the series captures intimate moments of struggle, healing, and transformation. Pride Rules

PRIDE RULES is a remarkable look at lion prides, their politics, their incessant drive to survive, and the daily struggles they face to protect their territory. On the banks of the Chobe River, a large lion pride dominates the highly prized floodplain territory. Led by two charismatic brothers and a plucky lioness, the pride consists of 18 members. And then there’s Einstein; the wayward son who should have left home long ago. As the dry season takes hold of their territory, the pride capitalizes on weakened elephants, fights off rival lions and sees new cubs into the fold, sparking Einstein’s inevitable eviction. But while Einstein embarks a peril-filled journey to find a new home, his original pride must battle enemies to protect their turf and their cubs. As the series unfolds, births and deaths are inevitable and battles, many. Just like the beautiful river that meanders through the floodplain, there is a constant ebb and flow of change and a constant stream of undercurrents that hint at deceit and demise.

For nearly two decades, Grizzly 399 has been a fixture in Grand Teton National Park. Known only by her research number, 399 has become the world's most famous — and most photographed — grizzly in the world. The film follows 399 as she struggles to raise her cubs in the face of human encroachment, a rapidly changing climate, and threat of losing her protection under the Endangered Species Act.
